Parenting is a process. Christian parenting is the process of raising and caring for your child in a godly way, impressing on them that they are special in the eyes of God and their parents. And that God has a purpose for their lives.

Although there are challenges in life, no matter the situation they may find themselves in, God’s purpose and the love of their parents will never change.

Christian parenting is consistent. Children are innocent, but as they grow up they can become stubborn and sometimes, rebellious. Such children can lie and they may boldly disrespect authority or even show signs of violence.

Parents must be consistent with their moral standards and discipline at home. When your children get the impression that you are inconsistent with your moral life and Christian discipline, you prepare the ground for rebellious children

The word of God says in Proverbs 29:17 Discipline your son and he will give you rest; he will give you delight in your heart. It is not just easy to do that, successfully.

Christian parenting is an act of faith. There is a strong element of faith in raising godly children; that is why you must partner with God to help you in parenting. When you have great faith in the Lord, you can see the future of your child. The word of God encourages us to train our children in the right way and they will not depart from it.

This is a divine assurance contrary to what the secular world may say concerning children of today.

By faith your children will go to school, they will not die before their time and they will not go wayward.

They will be born again and serve the living God. By faith you will raise your children in a godly way, be a teacher to them, and be a provider for them.

Objective

Prayer for children is platform to rally prayers for children (born and unborn).

The objective is to seek spiritual support for the future of children.

This is an opportunity to reconnect children with their maker while at tender ages. Many people have gone wayward in society because they did not have divine connectivity with God.

The prayer for children project seeks to bring parents and everybody together to pray fervently, to chart the course of life of children

Prayer for children focuses not only on children now, but even unborn kids affording potential parents the opportunity to key into the miraculous for a fruit of the womb.

Inspiration

The Prayer for children is God’s own vision but the workings are what we are carrying out as a ministry. Life has not always been rosy and for some of us who grew up from very challenging circumstances we understand what it means to protect the future of kids. A lot of people never reached were we have come but I strongly believe that if every parent is praying for their kids they would attain certain level of security for their future.

Motivation

Our passion is to see the prosperity and joy of our kids and the onus lies on us as parent to not only give them moral training but also a relationship with God.

Vision

The vision is to see children grow up in the midst of opportunities.

We want to create an environment that would allow children everywhere to prosper and grow into responsible adults.

We want to see children flourish their relationship with God.

We want to come to that point where growing up as a child isn’t as painful as it may have been in the past experiences others

How big is the project?

Prayer for Children is Global. We started in Ghana and we are already praying for kids in Europe and in America. We are hoping to build a network of prayerful families, and the result should be a purposeful world, and surely a better place for the future. Currently in Ghana, and the USA we are organizing a national programme to bring people together to pray to support the vision.

What is the future of prayer for Children?

We have passion to help people. We want to grow bigger and achieve better than we have done so far. Every year we take up a project. This year we raised funds and rallied some support for the new Horizon Special School. In the near future, maybe the next decade we want to take up bigger projects, transform lives completely on massive scale through great social interventions.
